Expend now supports Xero – Expenses made easy


Who wants easy expenses? We do! Calling all Xero users…we’re excited to announce that we have officially launched Expend’s Xero integration.

Here is a two-minute insight on what we’re doing and how we’re going to save you hours every month. Companies waste time and money dealing with expenses, filling out forms, hoarding receipts and dealing with inaccurate data.


The difference between Expend and other expense solution apps is that the expensing information is captured automatically as you pay, using your Expend card.

This is synced directly to your Xero accounting system, allowing you to keep tabs on what is being spent. Dedicate your Expend card to business purchases, top it up and you’re good to go.

So if you use Xero, you will see the data appear instantly in your accounting system. You can also export your data from the app to a standard CSV file for a number of other accounting platforms, along with images of your receipts. (Update: Expend became an official Xero app partner in late 2017 and has a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating)

Right now, we’re perfect for small businesses, freelancers and contractors. We’ll be rolling out support for teams in the very near future (update: we now support teams, so you’ll be able to allocate cards to members your team, managing everything using an online dashboard and gaining a good insight into company spending.
